In probably the most un-dench news of all time, former Arsenal midfielder Emmanuel Frimpong has been released by Barnsley.

Frimpong joined the Championship club from Arsenal in January, but has made just nine appearances since and failed to save Barnsley from relegation to League One.

The 22-year-old didn't exactly look enamoured with the move when it was first announced.

Was this his reaction to being released?

The big question now is what comes next for the king of dench. Could Arsenal make a shock move to re-sign him? Or will Frimpong leave football behind to pursue a new career altogether?

With Frimpong, almost anything is possible.

Dench.
