The Premier League title race is finally in Manchester City's hands. Liverpool's capitulation against Crystal Palace provides Manuel Pellegrini's team with the opportunity to go two points clear heading into the final round of fixtures.

Aston Villa enter the Etihad with a chance to play saviour for Brendan Rodgers' Reds. Paul Lambert's team are safe from relegation and will be relieved to have ensured top-flight football after a poor season. Have they got the guts to turn City over on their own turf, when there's very little for the visitors to play for?

This campaign has been crammed with surprises. Surely, after Liverpool surrendering a three-goal lead in their last game, City won't do the same?

We fired up an Xbox One copy of FIFA 14 to see if the unthinkable will arise again.

Manchester City vs. Aston Villa: FIFA 14 Highlights

It took a while, but City's vital breakthrough just before halftime ensured no nerves for the title favourites. Edin Dzeko continues to do his bit, despite an inconsistent run of games this season, and netted his second brace in a week to keep Pellegrini's squad on track.

City just need a draw against West Ham to confirm their second Premier League crown in three years. We'll bring you a simulation of that fixture, alongside Liverpool's match against Newcastle, in a bumper finale to this year's proceedings.
