Former Louisville Cardinal Teddy Bridgewater is widely considered to be one of the top quarterback prospects in this year's NFL draft, which begins on Thursday, May 8. Fame, money and a wide range of opportunities will come when he hears his name called.

His mother has had a huge influence on him, as he explains in this short documentary directed by Spike Lee, and Bridgewater honored a promise he made when he was nine years old by giving her a pink Cadillac Escalade

The pink color honors her name, Rose, as well as her triumphant fight against breast cancer.

Way to go, Teddy.
