Ryan Carter Extends Contract With Anaheim Ducks

    The Anaheim Ducks organization announced on April 29th 2008 that they had re-signed Ryan Carter, the twenty four year old second year Center from St. Paul, MN. The Anaheim Ducks drafted Carter in 2006.

    Carter appeared in 34 games with the Ducks producing 8 points during the 2007-2008 campaign. He saw action in 13 games with the Portland Pirates, Anaheim’s AHL affiliate. Carter was originally signed as a free agent out of Minnesota State University on July 12, 2006. In Portland during the 2006-2007 season, he recorded 36 points and 85 penalty minutes. Carter also appeared in four games during the Ducks Stanley Cup run last year.
