Nebraska Needs To Get Rid of Mike Anderson

I don't know exactly how long Mike Anderson has been at Nebraska, but I do know it has been at least five years, and each one of those seasons has been a successful one.

During his years as Nebraska's baseball coach, he has made the College World Series Regionals almost every year as well as the Big 12 tournament. That is until this year.

This year, the Cornhusker didn't even win 30 games. For the last five years, Anderson has used Van Horne's boys, and now, we are witnessing the fact that his recruits can't even win 30 games.

Can you seriously say that we lost that much talent between this year and last year?  Did we really lose enough talent to go from almost 50 wins to not even 30?

This is inexcusable. I think it's time to hold Husker baseball accountable. I think it's time to start expecting success out of baseball.

We didn't even make the postseason this year. This would be inexcusable if it happened in any other "big time" sport, and the coach would be fired.

Now, I'm not usually the guy to call for a coach's job, but the last game I saw was a loss to California State-Bakersfield!  That was the final straw for me.
