As Europe's elite begin to near the end of their 2013-14 campaigns, there's a limited amount of time left for the Northern Hemisphere's biggest clubs to make a run at silverware.

And that pressure is proving to have a dramatic effect on the quality of the collisions fans are able to feast their eyes upon, with this week's breakdown of the biggest tackles, fends and other such physical masterpieces taking on a wrestling theme.

That being said, Super Rugby's bastions continue to slam away at one another for our pleasure, too, and as Stormers edged their way to a much-needed victory over the Highlanders on Saturday, Aaron Smith was rejected in almighty fashion by the towering Duane Vermeulen.

Leinster's Rob Kearney and Stade Francais utility back Digby Ioane also managed to get in on the action this week, showcasing moves against Ulster and Toulon, respectively, which look as though they might belong on the ring canvas as opposed to a rugby pitch.

Devin Toner took on board a controversial tip tackle from Ulster's Tom Court in a heated Pro12 affair between Leinster and Ulster, which accounts for no less than three of this week's entries.

All that and more awaits in this week's countdown. Let us know which hit you think is deserving of the top spot in the forum below.
