When the Trail Blazers lost star shooting guard Brandon Roy to debilitating knee injuries, Portland fans wondered how long it would take for the franchise to recover.
While he's only in his second season in the NBA, Damian Lillard's buzzer-beating three over the Houston Rockets' Chandler Parsons was eerily similar to a dramatic shot Roy hit against Houston in 2008.
The two Blazers guards both had less than one second to get the shot off (0.9 for Lillard, 0.8 for Roy) and both took off from roughly the same spot on the court on their daggers against the Rockets.
