The San Antonio Spurs have traded Bruce Bowen, Kurt Thomas, and Fabricio Oberto in exchange for Richard Jefferson, according to a source from ESPN.

Adding Jefferson bolsters San Antonio's roster and will be a great compliment to superstars Tim Duncan, Tony Parker, and Manu Ginobili and should make the Spurs one of the favorites already in the NBA.

This move saves the Bucks around $3 million this year and $15 million next season.

This trade also makes sense for the Bucks, because Bowen, Thomas, and Oberto are all going into the final year of their contacts. They also add veteran help and will fill holes on Milwaukee’s roster.
