It has been at least a few months since Anderson, of I'm-not-fat-I'm-sex lore, did something silly to put himself in the spotlight.

And so he then met the pope.

The Manchester United man, on loan at Fiorentina, visited the Vatican on the eve of Fiorentina's Coppa Italia final clash with Napoli.

So he did what all kids do these days and documented the feat on Instagram. The problem being, of course, taking video inside the Vatican isn't exactly compliant with Papal Law.
