Dutch football expert Peter McVitie thinks Louis van Gaal WOULD have the guts to tell Wayne Rooney where to go should our favourite Liverpudlian decide he's not happy with the Dutchman's team selections.
That is, of course, if the former Bayern boss gets the Manchester United manager's job.
It seems that Van Gaal would also provide the antidote to the recent negative tactics we've experienced at Old Trafford under David Moyes, with the man from Amsterdam stating recently that he still favours the 4-3-3 formation.
But do United have the players to fit into that strategy—and if not, who would you like to see the 62 year-old recruit on to the playing staff?
Needless to say, if the rumours in the MUFC community are to be believed, it all sounds like Van Gaal is due to be confirmed as the new manager of Manchester United by the middle of next week.
After the conservative nature of the outgoing United boss, the Reds sound like they're more than ready to enjoy the veracity of someone with Van Gaal's personality taking over at the helm at the Theatre of Dreams.
Mehmet Scholl, who played under Van Gaal at Bayern, has this week called his old manager a "genius" football coach in the English press—but also said the Dutchman is prone to falling out with big egos.
To be honest, we can't wait!
