Spanish website marca.com is reporting that representatives of Ricky Rubio and DKV Joventut met today. The meeting lasted no longer than 15 minutes, with the Spanish Club not willing to back off from the $4.75 mill clause in the agreement which both parties signed two years ago.

However Esteve Rubio, Ricky's father, is optimistic that an agreement will be reached before the night of the NBA draft.

If the sides do not come to terms, they will need to meet in court around October 14th.

Citing previous similar experience which they had, DKV Joventut are confident that a court hearing will decide in their favour.
