In yet more Manchester United transfer talk, young Lyon star Karim Benzema has taken his name out of consideration to join the Red Devils, claiming that he wants to stay another season with Lyon before moving to a bigger club.

Benzema has been linked to Manchester United ever since the record £80 million transfer to Real Madrid was completed for Cristiano Ronaldo, and has been further linked ever since Carlos Tevez rejected a five-year contract offer last week to remain at Old Trafford.

Benzema has been considered to be one of the most wanted players in Europe and had been rumored to join Manchester United in a potential £35 million transfer.

The reason why Benzema won't join Man United is that he wants to cement a spot on the French national team for the 2010 World Cup. However, he could be a possible member of Manchester United in the 2010-2011 season.
