HS Baseball Team Gives Bat Boy with Down Syndrome a Senior Night to Remember

Timberline High School (Boise, Idaho) gave their bat boy a memory that he and his family will never forget.

"Fast" Eddie Gordon, who was born with Down syndrome, has been Timberline's bat boy for the last two years. On Senior Night, "Fast" Eddie was the Wolves' leadoff hitter. 

He got the crowd going from the moment he stepped into the batter's box. When he made contact with the ball, he rounded the bases. By the time he reached the plate, Eddie's teammates were waiting there to congratulate him.
