Not only are Atletico Madrid headed to a Champions League final and in pole position to win their first La Liga title since 1996, but they're doing more with less.

Much less, in some cases.

Eurosport did a bit of number-crunching and came out with some rather staggering numbers concerning the cost of Atletico compared to the team they ousted in the Champions League semi-final, Chelsea.

Jose Mourinho's starting XI cost upwards of six times as much as Atletico's XI. Fernando Torres' gaudy transfer fee of £50 million is £20 more than Atletico's entire lineup.

And imagine how wide the gap will be if/when Chelsea inevitably swoop in to purchase Atleti's Diego Costa at an astronomical price.
