Liverpool duo Raheem Sterling and Jose Enrique didn't appear to take Chelsea's Champions League semi-final exit to Atletico Madrid too hard, judging by their Twitter accounts.

The Blues had the last laugh in Sunday's Premier League clash with a 2-0 win against the Reds, but both Sterling and Enrique seemed happy enough that Chelsea missed out on the European final in Lisbon.

Enrique took a swing at Jose Mourinho's spoiling tactics:

This is what happens when you don't play football......

The Spaniard, presumably happy to see a Spanish side faring well, was celebrating the Atletico goals as they went in.

Sterling, by contrast, simply tweeted smiley faces at the full-time whistle:

😁😁😁

With British interest in the Champions League now over, attention turns to the three-way fight for the title between Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester City
