Minnesota Wild vs. Colorado Avalanche Game 7: Live Score and Highlights

The Minnesota Wild finally got their road victory.

It took overtime of the seventh game, but Minnesota defeated the Colorado Avalanche 5-4 and won the opening round playoff series in seven games.

Nino Niederreiter scored the winner in overtime as he capitalized on a 2-on-1 and whipped a shot by overmatched goalie Semyon Varlamov.

The Wild will play the Chicago Blackhawks in the second round of the playoffs.
