Jadeveon Clowney, one of the top prospects in this year's class, was taken first overall by the Houston Texans in the 2014 NFL draft.

Put simply, Clowney is a physical freak of nature. He has phenomenal speed off the edge and the strength to bull his way through on the inside of most offensive lines, and is capable of keeping offensive coordinators up at night with his ability to wreak havoc in opposing backfields.

However, the knock on the talented defensive end is and has always been his work ethic. With claims that he took plays off in college, and that he tends not to work as hard in practice, his draft stock fluctuated wildly between stellar workouts at the combine and South Carolina's pro day. There's no doubt among scouts that he has the potential to be one of the all-time greats, but the concern is that he won't be willing to put the work in at the next level to fulfill his talent.

So, will Clowney's physical gifts and natural talent see him become the superstar that many have forecasted, or will he become another example of wasted potential? Watch our draft experts talk about the defensive end's ceiling, and what he brings to the league.
