Chicago Blackhawks' Patrick Kane is Cover Boy for NHL 10

While Alexander Ovechkin is the cover boy for the rival 2K Sports NHL 2K10 game, Patrick Kane has been announced today as the cover by for the EA Sports NHL 10.

EA Sports also announced today that it has signed John Tavares, who is expected to go first overall at this Friday's draft, to promote the game.

Washington Capitals centre Nicklas Backstrom will be on the cover of the Swedish version of NHL 10. Different athletes will also appear in the Danish, Finnish, and Swiss versions.

NHL 10 will be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 15th

NHL 2K10 will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, Wii, and PC sometime in September.
