Liverpool are just seven points away from winning the Premier League title.

Before the start of the season, this kind of scenario only seemed possible on FIFA 14 or, indeed, your football video game of choice. With Brendan Rodgers' team on the brink of glory, we used an Xbox One version of EA Sports' aforementioned title to predict the Reds' next result against Chelsea.

A season-defining match awaits in reality, but who takes the virtual spoils? Let's get down to business.

Liverpool vs. Chelsea: FIFA 14 Highlights

So, if FIFA 14 is to be believed, Liverpool's streak of 11 Premier League wins is destined to end. Although a hard-fought match, Chelsea carved open the better opportunities and grew into the game after Frank Lampard's terrific opener.

While real-world form suggests such a result is unlikely, Jose Mourinho is the type of manager to turn the division on its head. Liverpool have blitzed many opponents throughout the year—both home and away—suggesting the opening half-hour is going to be pivotal.

If Chelsea can weather the storm, they may have a chance. Will Lampard and Samuel Eto'o emerge as heroes? Might Fernando Torres sneak in to crush his old side? Is this destined to be another showing of stunning Liverpool dominance?

Let us know your verdict below.
