Real Madrid first-half quick analysis
LOPEZ—Largely a bystander in the match, other than a spate of Osasuna corners to deal with.
NACHO—Has been solid if unadventurous.
VARANE—Not too much to worry about, but has dealt well with high balls into the area.
RAMOS—Looks on a bit of a mission at both ends, rampaging forward from deep and tackling firmly.
MARCELO—The usual excellent out-ball down the left, overlapping with pace. No end product on delivery yet.
MODRIC—Recycling the ball neatly with plenty of options ahead of him, not feeling the need to step into attacking line.
ILLARRA—Picking up second balls and letting those ahead of him attack at will.
ISCO—Difficult for him to get into the game so far.
DI MARIA—Has shown good intent to cut in and be a threat in the attacking line.
RONALDO—Several level above everyone else on the pitch. Really on his game.
MORATA—Working hard and trying to link play, but no shooting chances.
