On the back end of a possession that looked doomed, rookie Troy Daniels may have just saved the Houston Rockets' season.

At the very least, he saved Game 3. With 11 seconds remaining in overtime, the VCU product nailed a deep three to put Houston ahead for good. The Portland Trail Blazers still lead the series 2-1. Portland will host the Rockets in Game 4 on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. ET.

You probably aren't familiar with Daniels unless you're a devoted Rockets fan or follow the development league.

But maybe we should remember his name from here on.
