Has Football Replaced Baseball As America's Favorite Sport?

For a long time, baseball reigned as the trademark sport of the United States. For the first half of the 20th century especially, kids across the country were playing baseball because it quite simply was the thing to do, it was fun, competitive and was the official past-time, no doubt about it.

However, in the latter half of the century and into the 21st century, there has been a different sport that, in my opinion, has taken some of the spotlight away from baseball. American football, which, like baseball, is competitive, fun, entertaining and may have possibly replaced baseball as America's past-time and favorite sport.

That is my question to all of you today, do you believe football has replaced baseball as America's favorite sport, or do you believe baseball is still king of all sports here in the U.S.? Thanks!
