World Football, EPL, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, FC Barcelona, Fernando Torres, Preview/Prediction

This week we witness two titanic clashes. First up we have Manchester United vs Barcelona. Tomorrow night we have Chelsea vs Liverpool.

Tonight at Old Trafford, Manchester United will face Barcelona. Manchester United's form has been a little bit worrying as of late. Three games without a win in all competitions, to which Sir Alex Ferguson's says there is no crisis. After the defeat against Chelsea on Saturday, United will be desperate to prove there is no crisis at Old Trafford.

Barcelona have been in horrific form as of late. Just one win in their last nine games for the Catalan giants. Now that Joan Laporta have placed a £31.5 million price tag on the head of Ronaldinho, there will be an air of un-ease around Old Trafford tonight.

Both clubs now have a point to prove, but United have bigger point to prove. They will be hungry for goals tonight. They will have to be careful, however. Owen Hargreaves, Patrice Evra and Nani are all one yellow card away from missing the final, should they progress tonight.

I have to make a prediction, and it's swinging in Manchester United's direction. I think United may make this look easier than it is.

Prediction: Manchester United 2-1 Barcelona - 19:45pm kick-off - ITV1

So now we come to tomorrow nights clash at Stamford Bridge between Chelsea and Liverpool. Chelsea undoubtedly have the advantage after last week's away goal. They are in good form at the moment. They will be confident they can progress to the final.

Liverpool have an uphill task after John Arne-Riise's own goal in the 95th minute last week. They can go through but will only do so if Fernando Torres and Steven Gerrard are on top form. They can link together beautifully. They can easily change the course of a match.

Chelsea have their prestigious home record to protect. They will defend like their lives depend on it to protect that record. But we have realised something recently. Since Rafael Benitez took over as Liverpool manager, Liverpool have not scored at Stamford Bridge.

That fact will be playing on the minds of many Liverpool players, more so Fernando Torres, who will be desperate to cancel out Chelsea's away goal from last week.

So, I have to make a prediction for this one. It's difficult. I don't see Chelsea losing their home record, but I do see them losing by virtue of away goals. I think this one will go for 120 minutes.

Prediction: Chelsea 2-2 Liverpool - 19:45pm kick-off - Sky Sports 2 & HD2

  4. i think man u will win one nil to a first half scholes goal........ God im good.

Tonights game i think will be a score draw.
As for the final. I darent even think about it yet!

  5. I think Messi make Barcelona look better than they actually are. As for tonight, well given our demolition of United in the weekend, i think we'll win..

    Prediction:
    Chelsea 1-0 Liverpool (2-1 agg)
Drogba scoring early in the first half.....
