Oklahoma City Thunder point guard Russell Westbrook provided the perfect cap to his team's improbable game-tying 21-4 run over the final 7:30 of regulation Thursday night.

With OKC trailing by four and less than 30 seconds left on the clock, Westbrook (a career 30.5 percent three-point shooter) took aim from well beyond the arc and buried a miracle triple that drew a foul call on Memphis Grizzlies swingman Tony Allen.

Westbrook connected on the free throw, which eventually sent the game into overtime. He finished his night with 30 points and 13 rebounds, but the Grizzlies prevailed with a 98-95 win to take a 2-1 lead in this best-of-seven series.
