Young Australian Chris Lynn was making his debut for Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League on Thursday, and he made quite an impact.

After hitting three sixes in his 45 with the bat, the 24-year-old from Brisbane watched on as opponents Royal Challengers Bangalore needed six off the final three balls.

AB de Villiers looked like he had delivered the winning blow as Lynn slipped out on the mid-wicket boundary.

However, he got back to his feet and recovered to take a catch that almost beggars belief to win his side the match.

Unsurprisingly, Lynn was named man of the match.
