The San Diego Padres would like your help in finding their offense.

The young team is stuck finding their way amid a very tough NL West and are doing an admirable job despite posting just 56 runs and a .284 OBP, good for 30th and 28th respectively in MLB.

MLB Contributor Gabe Zaldivar attempts to single out the keys to success for a team that hasn’t sniffed the postseason since 2006.

At 10-11 in the early going of 2014, things could be a great deal worse for the Padres. Tyson Ross and Andrew Cashner have been the brightest spots in a relatively young squad.

Of course, you can’t lump the entirety of success on the health of those two arms, so the Padres are going to need others to step up and deliver in a big way.

Biggest on the list of Padres needs is for budding star Jedd Gyorko to cut down on the strikeouts and increase the quality at-bats.
