Player Of the Day: Mike Hart
Mike Hart has been one of the most productive high school players in the history of the game. He rushed 935 times for 11232 yards aith a 12 yard average. Holds all time high school records for career points, 100 yard rushing games, consecutive 100 yard rushing games, and touchdowns.

As a true freshman in 2004 he ran for 1455 yards with a 5.2 yard average. Was named Big Ten Freshman of the year. In 2005 he missed four games for hamstrings and ankle injuries. In 2006 he rushed for 1562 yards and 14 touchdowns. Had shoulder surgery after the season. In 2007 he ran for 1361 yards and 14 touchdowns. Is Michigans all time leading rusher.

After a great preseason, Hart beat out Kenton Keith and Clifton Dawson. After five games he was placed on IR. He is now recovering, and he could start the 2009 season on the PUP list.

If Hart can stay healthy he could possibly be the Colts best running back. He reminds me of Marion Barber, but he needs to stay healthy if he wants to stick in the NFL.
