F1 and Ferrari legend Michael Schumacher has just been revealed as "The Stig" on popular British television show Top Gear!

The show is a motor magazine show that reviews new vehicles all over the world, and races interesting or classic vehicles, among other features.

But for over a decade they have had a secret "tame racing driver" who races new vehicles around the show's very own test circuit. But his identity has never been revealed, as he has kept his mask and suit on at all times during production of the show. He has become of cult status in Britain, with t-shirts even being produced.

There has been an enormous amount of speculation recently regarding his true identity, and finally that person was revealed tonight at around 20:45 British time to be Michael Schumacher. It is thought he took over from the previous "Stig" around 2006 or 2007. No certainty yet on whether this announcement is true or a prank pulled by the show's comedic hosts, but it will sure have the internet buzzing!
