The Chicago Blackhawks came through with a victory in Game 3 of their playoff series, holding off the St. Louis Blues and recording a 2-0 victory.
Jonathan Toews scored early in the first period and Marcus Kruger added an empty net goal, but the star of the game was Chicago goalie Corey Crawford. He blunted every St. Louis scoring effort even though the Blues had a edge in territorial play. Crawford had 34 saves in the game.
The Blues still lead the series 2-1. The fourth game of the series will be in Chicago at the United Center Wednesday night.
