Blue - 58
White - 3
Auburn heads into the 2014 season as one of the teams to watch due to last year’s success. And the Tigers starting offense didn’t disappoint, as the Blue Team put together a 58-3 victory, nearly scoring on every drive.
The star of the game was quarterback Nick Marshall, who passed for 236 yards and three touchdowns. Marshall was flawless the entire game and looked to improve his accuracy on the run and his decision making. Marshall earned the offensive MVP.
Other players who shined include Kenny Flowers, who was the defensive MVP. There were also a batch of running backs who had a tremendous day and will make it tough on the coaching staff to name a starter.
Overall, it was a solid performance for Auburn and if it was any indication of things to come, the Tigers will be a team that has a major say in the SEC.
