Just because two people have similar names does not mean they are related.

If you don't believe that, ask the Sacramento Kings' Isaiah Thomas.

ESPN's 30 for 30 recently aired its Bad Boys documentary, which highlighted what made the Detroit Pistons so intimidating back in the day. There were many recognizable faces on that team, but Isiah Thomas may have been the most notable player.

When the documentary aired Thursday night, the Kings' Thomas received a hilarious tweet:

The 25-year-old could only laugh when he saw that.

Sure, it might be easy to mix up the two players when spelling their names online. However, assuming they are related just because of their names is a rookie mistake.
