Professional athletes get asked to sign weird things from time to time, so they need to be ready to put their signature on just about anything.
Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood has played five seasons in the NFL, but he has never given out a weirder autograph than the one he gave recently. We only wish there was video of Wood's reaction to being asked to sign it.
Update: Tuesday, April 29 at 5:10 p.m. ET
After someone sent him a jockstrap to sign, Wood challenged fans to top it:
For all those asking 1) the jock was fresh out of the box 2) was for the "biggest Bills fan in Ohio" 3) I would love to see someone do...— Eric Wood (@EWood70) April 17, 2014
Something crazier. Just send anything to be signed to Bills address at my attention with return shipping. Nothing inappropriate or uncleanly— Eric Wood (@EWood70) April 17, 2014
I will tweet pics of anyone who tops the jock strap. Include your twitter name in the box and I'll take you in it— Eric Wood (@EWood70) April 17, 2014
Wood tweeted out photos of some of the bizarre things that fans have recently asked him to sign:
3 of my favorite signed items so far: wooden pickle, eviction notice, and ping pong paddle. I lol'd at the eviction pic.twitter.com/ZIIpFEfbtA— Eric Wood (@EWood70) April 29, 2014
Keep up the good work, Bills fans.
