College Football Fans Rejoice;BCS Mini-Playoff Discussion On June 24th

As many people will agree, it is time for the Football Bowl Subdivision, (FBS) to insert a playoff. But how will FBS players, coaches, and fans witness their ever dying love of a playoff if Commissioners like Jim Delany will fight against one?

 

They have said, “it’s about the bowls”, “we shouldn’t weaken the bowls”, but if there is a solution that doesn’t weaken the bowls, I wonder how the BCS would react.

 

I agree with the BCS, however, in that the bowls should not be weakened. And although the current BCS system weakened Out of Conference (OOC) games, weakened the integrity of the game, and takes turns leaving all conferences in disarray at one point or another, the BCS has progressed the FBS.

 

Statistically, more fans started tuning into FBS when the BCS was incepted because one loss in the beginning of the season had the same value as a loss in the final week of the season. Thus, the BCS fellas call the
