It's always nice to get the old thumbs-up from your boss when you do a good job.
And if you're a professional basketball team whose boss just happens to be the greatest player of all time, then all the better.
Charlotte Bobcats owner Michael Jordan joined the home crowd in giving his team a standing ovation near the end of their 91-86 overtime victory over the Chicago Bulls in the regular-season finale. The Bobcats finished the season at 43-39, one win shy of its single-season franchise record.
Jordan's Bobcats will face the Miami Heat in the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. It will be a difficult test, but this team has already exceeded expectations for the season.
