In honor of the anniversary of Jackie Robinson's historic MLB debut, players around the league paid their respect in the only part of their uniform that is customizable: their cleats.

Pittsburgh's Andrew McCutchen showed off these yellow, black and gold shoes with a "42" on the front on his Instagram with the caption, "He was the definition of the word change. Not only the change in race, but change in this world. #Jackie42#TeamNike."

Detroit's Torii Hunter had the same emblem on his custom shoes that he shared on his Instagram

Cincinnati's Jay Bruce wore these custom Griffeys made by Nike.

The Mets' Curtis Granderson took it a step further with these cleats with the "Thank You Jackie" message on the back.
