WWE Raw Review: Evolution Reunites, the Possible End of Corporate Kane and More

Despite WWE's ongoing theme of a new era, the promotion couldn’t help itself from rolling out nostalgic acts. All indications point to Corporate Kane returning to his Big Red Monster persona while Raw ended with an Evolution reunion.

As far as the new is concerned, Bray Wyatt and John Cena continue to feud, with Cena’s comedy sure to be the topic of insufferable complaining from uniform wrestling analysts who can’t take a joke.

The WWE Intercontinental Championship was not presented as a joke for the first time in recent memory, as Raw was dominated by a tournament for the once-prestigious championship. By the conclusion of this tournament, this secondary title could matter again, if only temporarily.

The tag team championships appear to be on their way to no longer mattering, with announcers referring to them as consolation prizes that top stars Batista and Randy Orton couldn't care less about.
