Red Sox and Bruins Players Join Boston Marathon Survivors at Finish Line

The 2014 Boston Marathon is less than a week away, so Boston is preparing to show the world just how strong it is once more.

Tuesday marks the one-year anniversary of the tragic events of last year's Boston Marathon. Several members of the Boston Red Sox and the Boston Bruins recently joined some of the 2013 Boston Marathon survivors and first responders for the powerful photo seen above, via The Boston Globe.

David Ortiz, Jonny Gomes, Dustin Pedroia, Zdeno Chara and Patrice Bergeron were among those who gathered at the finish line:
