'Mini Masters' Video Transforms Augusta into a Mini-Golf Paradise

If you want to win at Augusta, you have to get up and down at the gopher hole. That’s key.

Regardless of your feelings on golf, the miniature version is an activity we all can enjoy. You have a few drinks, putt through the Mayan temple and eventually tee off in the direction of the parking lot (do not do this).

It’s this universal fun that makes the "Mini Masters" so amazing. Blogger Simon Connor has taken it upon himself to craft a video depicting what the Masters would look like if pros came to Augusta National to compete in the world’s most prestigious miniature golf tournament.

Rick Chandler of SportsGrid.com spotted Connor’s latest video. This edition borrows footage from the 2013 Masters tournament, and shows Adam Scott defeating the windmill to secure Australia’s first green jacket.

Yes, as unfortunate as it is, Crocodile Dundee, Russell Crowe and Hugh Jackman were unable to scramble their way to victory.

My question is: Will Connor make a video for the 2014 Masters? We can only pray.

I’d love to see what wonders he could do with the 30-footer Bubba Watson dropped on 14 during his second round. Here’s a GIF of that little beauty from SBNation.com.

I like to imagine Watson putting into the beak of a chicken, which in turn clucks and lays the ball like an egg into the hole. I dream big.

We’ll be on the lookout for a 2014 "Mini Masters" video. Until then, we’ll just watch this on repeat until we’re no longer satisfied with regular golf.
