Erik Lamela has had a chastening first season in English football after a big-money move to the Premier League last summer—and one cheeky fan has started a search for him with a sign on a lamppost:

The Argentine is "struggling to adapt to new surroundings," the poster warns, and was last seen "walking around in a daze, looking vacant and confused."

Sadly, if you find him, there's no reward—apparently, there's FFP to think about.

Lamela has made just three Premier League starts this season—and just nine appearances in the top flight in all. The deal to bring him from Roma in the summer could eventually cost, according to the BBC, just shy of £30m.

There appears little chance of him being seen again this season: he's out injured.
