Why Top 2014 NBA Draft Pick Dante Exum Thinks Lakers Are His 'Best Option'

Dante Exum is the 2014 NBA lottery pick you might know nothing about—and for good reason.

Raised in Melbourne, Australia, Exum made his full-time U.S. arrival in February to prepare for the draft, working in Los Angeles with Michael Jordan's legendary trainer, Tim Grover. As the intensity around the NBA draft heats up, there will be plenty more to discover about the Aussie basketball phenom.

Besides excelling on the international stage, Exum has the hoops pedigree as well. His father, Cecil, played with Jordan at the University of North Carolina, winning a national championship in 1982.

Bleacher Report's Jared Zwerling spent time with Exum in Australia to see who he aspires to be in the NBA, and why being selected by the Los Angeles Lakers would be the most ideal situation for him.
