Liverpool are coming off a huge win over Manchester City and now control their destiny in the Premier League.

They are first place in the league table with a two-point cushion over Chelsea and are six points clear of Man City.

While the Reds have a great shot to win the EPL, Norwich City are fighting to avoid relegation, so they have plenty of motivation as well. They are in 17th place in the league table and are only two points out of the relegation zone. The two clubs will face off Sunday.

Oddsmakers monitored by, however, have Liverpool as the big Premier League betting favorite. The Reds were 4-11 in early wagering with Norwich at 13-2 and a draw line at 4-1.

The Canaries have lost three matches in a row, and they did not score in any of those encounters. Recent head-to-head history does not favor Norwich either, as they were crushed 5-1 earlier this season at Liverpool.

Norwich just had their six-match home unbeaten streak snapped. So while the Reds are the big-betting favorites, they should not be overlooking Norwich while looking forward to their big encounter facing Chelsea next weekend.

In their recent six-match unbeaten streak, the Canaries beat Tottenham and played to a 0-0 draw against Man City.

Norwich will have to play stout defense and win a low-scoring match, as they have scored the fewest goals in the EPL this season.

The Canaries have a tall order to defend a Liverpool squad that has scored the most goals in the league. Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge are the two leading goalscorers in the league, as they have combined for 49 goals.

In their last match against Man City, Liverpool netted three goals, none by Suarez or Sturridge (who was taken out of the Man City match with a hamstring injury and is a question mark against Norwich).

That could be good news for a Norwich side that must win this match with defense. Their attack, if you can call it that, is led by Robert Snodgrass and Gary Hooper, who lead the squad with a paltry five goals apiece.

Norwich City face a tough challenge to avoid the relegation zone as they face Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal in their remaining matches.

Last season at Norwich City, the Reds beat the Canaries 5-2, which could encourage OVER bettors to get on board here. It's possible Liverpool will be focused more on next week’s match than this one, but they realize they cannot drop any points and should be focused and clinical in breaking the defensive shell of Norwich.

Prediction: 3-0 Liverpool
