With a full head of steam, the Wings are going into Colorado with a need to play game three with all that they have. Franzen is coming to play every night in this year's playoffs. He is emerging as a huge player for the wings.
This is what needs to keep happening. Everyone playing their role to get these wins. This stepping up by the younger players, or non "stars", is so critical for Detroit when Hank and Pavel are getting mauled each and every time they touch the puck. They are handling it all very well, but they can't do it all in every game.
The Wings must not let the Avs get any momentum, like they let Nashville get last series. Hopefully they will dominate the Avs once again, and look to sweep. If they keep playing their A-game, they have no limits. They made it past the first round... so watch out!
As always, the Wings are going to need Ozzy to come out big for them, and make the big saves when the time comes. Dom just didn't seem to be with it during the Nashville series, so Ozzy really stepped up rallied the Wings back to win the series.
