New York Islanders rookie Justin Johnson was playing in just his second career game on Sunday against the Buffalo Sabres, but he made sure to make quite the statement.

During the first period, Johnson decided to take on the 6'8'' John Scott in a fight. While it felt like the larger Scott was going to dominate the fight, Johnson came up with a devastating haymaker that knocked the 31-year-old veteran to the ground.

Both players were sent to the penalty box, but it was clear that the rookie was the winner.
