Canes Agree to Terms with Patrick Brown

Ron Francis, Vice President of Hockey Operations for the National Hockey League's Carolina Hurricanes, today announced that the team agreed to terms with center Patrick Brown on a two-year, entry-level contract. The deal will pay Brown $575,000 in the NHL in 2014-15 and $600,000 in the NHL in 2015-16, or $60,000 in the American Hockey League (AHL) both years. He also receives a signing bonus of $130,000.
