There was little drama at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Friday afternoon, as both Timothy Bradley and Manny Pacquiao made weight ahead of their huge welterweight showdown Saturday night on HBO pay-per-view.
Bradley (31-0, 12 KO), who will make the third defense of the WBO Welterweight Championship he took from Pacquiao on June 9, 2012, weighed in at a shredded 145.5 pounds.
Pacquiao (55-5, 38 KO) tipped the scales at an even 145 pounds.
The Filipino icon had overwhelming crowd support at Friday's weigh-in, and Bradley seemed to embrace the underdog role, jawwing at Pacquiao during the final staredown and egging the crowd on to boo him louder whenever he appeared on the monitors in the arena.
For both fighters, Saturday night will represent the opportunity to settle an old score. Both men have unfinished business.
Pacquiao needs to show that he still has the fire to compete at the top level of boxing.
Bradley needs to show that his hotly disputed win over Pacquiao wasn't a fluke, and that he can score a decisive victory over the "Pacman."
Bleacher Report will bring you live coverage of Saturday's fights, beginning with the undercard at 9 p.m ET.
