Auburn Starting Pitcher In 2008 Is a Big Leader In 2009
Luke Grienke is currently pitching for the Yanks Triple A Team.
But just a year ago, he was a stud at Auburn University. His record at Auburn was 22-9. He was "Da Man."
He had 51 strikeouts and and 11 BB.
But with an ERA of 1.23 and a 95 mile-per-hour fastball, he knew where he was going. Drafted out on his junior year, he was on a Double-A team for the Yankees.
He was then traded directly to the Tigers for two catchers that would play Double-A as well.
His record in the Majors is 8-3.
With 11 K's and an ERA of 2.01, most people don't even know who he is but just try and watch out for him and his brother, Zack, who plays for the Kansas City Royals.
Luke can be fabulous player in the MLB soon.
