With the T20 World Cup ending and the Wimbledon starting, I thought it was important to write an analysis on the Wimbledon players. So let us look at the players who have the potential and the capability to win the Wimbledon.

I am not a follower of Tennis so I just thought we could analyze the stats of the top five players.

Rafael Nadal

This young Spaniard attained the No. 1 status and has defeated Roger Federer five times in Grand Slam finals.

He is now looking to meet Federer in the Wimbledon and defeat him. But unfortunately he has not been in good touch recently and may have to face defeat again (lost in the fourth round of the French Open). So it all depends on form and fate.

Roger Federer

This Swiss player has won five Wimbledons, five U.S Opens, one French Open and three Australian Opens.

He at the moment is tied with Pete Sampras in the race of Grand Slam Titles. Both have won 14 each and Roger is looking to break the all time great's record by winning the upcoming Wimbledon.

Recently he was defeated by Rafaal Nadal in the Australian open final. His ranking has also dropped to No. 2 last year. So Nadal is the main obstruction in his road to winning the 2009 Wimbledon final.

But Nadal was recently not in his best form and was knocked out of the French Open in the fourth round. So Federer would be hoping to either defeat Nadal or not meet him in the finals.

Andy Murray

Though this Scottish player has not won any Grand Slams but has defeated the top two players Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer in 2009 in the Capitala World Tennis Championship.

He is currently at No. 3 in the world Rankings and can defeat top the top two again and win the Wimbledon.

Novak Djokovic

This Serbian player has won just one Australian in 2008 when he defeated the rank one and defending champion Roger Federer in the semifinals.

He has reached the semi-finals of all four Grand Slams and has been runners up once.

He has not had a good year so far as he has lost all the tournaments he has played in.

With top players playing in the Wimbledon his chance of reaching the finals is low but he can definitely reach the semifinals if he concentrates on his game.

Juan Martin del Potro

This young Argentine has not had a good career in this year. No. 2 Roger Federer defeated him easily in the Austrlian Open and he has also been defeated by Rafael Nadal and Andy Murray earlier this year.

But we cannot forget that this player has defeated Rafael Nadal in this year but with so many top players in the tournament it is very difficult for him to reach the Wimbledon finals.

Who Will Win Wimbledon?

So there is going to be a tough competition between these five players and only time will tell which of these will win the Grand Slam Title.

I am supporting my favorite player, Roger Federer but I wish Best of Luck to all the players.
