Last years AL MVP Dustin Pedroia cant put the barrel to the ball. Last year he made contact nearly every time with a 326 avg this year he's batting 293. In 2008 he swung nice and smooth hitting singles, doubles, triples, and SEVENTEEN homers. Now he is only looking for homers but only has 2. He even has 17 strike outs as many homers he had in 2008.

He has such great talent. He has to use it to his advantage. Singles help his team and will make him look better. He has to get the ball to hit that sweet spot and it will fly.

He also has to know that everyone strikes out. In baseball 3 out of ten is good. If he wants to get out of this slump he has to go up to the plate visioning putting barrel to ball. Doing this he will be out of his slum be before the All-Star break.
