Mattia Destro scored a hat-trick for Roma on Sunday, but it was what he did with his fist and not his boot that's now making headlines.
Destro was suspended on Tuesday for three matches for taking a wild swing at Cagliari's Davide Astori.
Not only was it a shameful punch from behind, but Destro also went down afterward seemingly in an effort to curry favour with the referee. It worked as Astori wasn't punished at the time of the incident.
He was, however, booked for a separate offence later in the match that will have him miss an additional match for accumulation of yellow cards.
