Manchester United head to Munich this week to attempt to do what most thought was impossible and knock holders Bayern out of the Champions League.

After a 1-1 draw in the first leg at Old Trafford, United and David Moyes have got the chance to earn a place in the draw for the semi-finals.

However, as summer approaches, rumour and speculation continues to whirl about who the United manager might try to bring in this summer and who will be allowed to leave.

Ryan Giggs could yet play a part against Bayern Munich in the Allianz Arena on Wednesday.

However, the Daily Mail reported on Monday that the 40-year-old is ready to quit Old Trafford at the end of the season.

The report insists Giggs is ready to end his playing career at the end of the season and continue his coaching career at another club.

Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News has branded David Moyes the Premier League's new tinkerman after revealing he has made the most changes to his team this season.

Liverpool's Brendan Rodgers has made the fewest.

As United flew to Munich for the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Bayern, David Moyes was again being linked with a move for one of Pep Guardiola's players.

The Mirror are reporting that Toni Kroos has told his team-mates he is determined to move to Old Trafford once his contract at the Allianz Arena expires.

The same paper also suggest that Nani could leave United this summer just months after signing a new five-year contract.

The Manchester Evening News also believe that United are willing to give Wayne Rooney as much time as possible to prove his fitness ahead of the game with Bayern.

He missed the weekend win over Newcastle with a toe injury.

On Wednesday, the paper carried quotes from Toni Kroos' agent suggesting the German midfielder won't be moving to Old Trafford this summer.

Meanwhile, there appeared to be better news from Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic, who seemed to leave the door open for a summer move away from Roma.
